Oona Culley is a British artist based in London. Public art commissions include St Bartholomew’s Hospital, Royal London Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Royal Liverpool Hospital, University of Oxford, Sedgemoor Dementia Care Centre and British Airways at Heathrow and Brussels airports. Exhibitions include John Hansard Gallery, Royal London Hospital Gallery, Leeds Met Gallery, The Old Sweet Shop Gallery, Architects Gallery, Hiscox Art Projects, Hay Gallery, Berardo Collection Museum and Sartorial Contemporary Art.
Oona creates delicate artworks that explore her interest in the fleeting and ephemeral, shadow, reflection, transparency, traces, absences, memory and questioning visual perception. For her public commissions she creates environments with large scale wall drawings of silhouettes of natural forms in subtle colour and metallic reflective gilding.
