Oona Culley has completed public art commissions for St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospitals, Great Ormond Street Hospital, the Royal Liverpool Hospital, the University of Oxford, Sedgemoor Dementia Care Centre, as well as for British Airways at Heathrow and Brussels airports.

Exhibitions have included John Hansard Gallery, Royal London Hospital Gallery, Leeds Met Gallery, The Old Sweet Shop Gallery, Architects Gallery, Hiscox Art Projects, Hay Gallery, Berardo Collection Museum and Sartorial Contemporary Art.

She works mainly in painting, drawing, digital print, installation and wall drawing. She creates fine and delicate artworks with shadows, reflections, traces, absences and silhouettes to explore that which is fleeting, ephemeral or insubstantial, and to question visual perception with misperception and trompe l’oeil. For her commissions she uses imagery of nature in subtle hues to create a calming environment.

Oona trained at the Ruskin School of Fine Art and graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2005. She was born in the UK and is based in London.
