Oona Culley has completed public art commissions for St Bartholomew’s Hospital, Royal London Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Royal Liverpool Hospital, University of Oxford, Sedgemoor Dementia Care Centre and British Airways at Heathrow and Brussels airports.

Exhibitions have included John Hansard Gallery, Royal London Hospital Gallery, Leeds Met Gallery, The Old Sweet Shop Gallery, Architects Gallery, Hiscox Art Projects, Hay Gallery, Berardo Collection Museum and Sartorial Contemporary Art.

Oona creates fine and delicate artworks with shadows, reflections, traces, absences, silhouettes, trompe l’oeil and illusion to explore that which is fleeting or ephemeral and to question visual perception. For her public commissions she has used silhouettes of natural forms in delicate colour to bring the outside inside. She works in painting, drawing, digital print, installation and wall drawing.

Oona graduated from the Royal College of Art (2005) and the Ruskin School of Fine Art (1997). She was born in the UK and is based in London.
